Flying Adventure: Winelands Namaqua Karoo – Day 15 (FAPN – FAWB):

All good things come to an end at some point. And today is the last day of our flying adventure to the cape winelands, the Namaqualand and the Karoo. Time to head back to Wonderboom in Pretoria.

It’s a short flight back from Pilanesberg and we are in no rush.
This time, our shuttle is waiting for us and takes us to the airport. At least on one way it worked.

We had planned very well. As we arrive at Wonderboom airport ZS-FJF has 1.5 hours left until the next 50 hours inspection. As much as we had liked to, we couldn’t have extended our trip much further.

This is how our unplanned tour eventually turned out:

The total distance covered came to just over 2100 nautical miles, or 4000 km. But most importantly, we discovered new amazing destinations and gained lasting memories.

After topping up fuel, it’s now time to get our aircraft back into the hangar. For now…
