Flying Adventure: Victoria Falls – Day 10 (FARanch – FAWB):
The constraints of reality are kicking in, and we have no more options and excuses to delay the inevitable any further. Today is the last day of this fantastic flying adventure through southern Africa.
It will be a relatively short flight of just under two hours back to Wonderboom airport. Hence we have no rush in the morning, enjoy breakfast, check out and stroll down to the aircraft to get ready for departure.
The last leg of this flying adventure

We take off from The Ranch in a westerly direction to exit Polokwane’s control zone, and then climb out along the eastern end of the Waterberg biosphere.

Past the mountain range, we set course to the south over South Africa’s interior plateau towards Pretoria and Johannesburg. It’s the second time, this route from Polokwane to Pretoria is our last day on tour. But that is just a coincidence and certainly not a rule.

Just as previously, it is a beautiful day to fly with exceptionally smooth and stable air. Properly trimmed the aircraft flies stably and accurately without any control input (bush pilots do not have autopilots, we fly!).
Just before lunch time we reach Wonderboom airport from where we departed on this tour ten days ago.

And with this last touch down, another amazing flying adventure comes to an end. We are all enriched with unforgettable memories and unique experiences.
