Flying Adventure: Around South Africa – Day 7 (FAPJ – FAVG – FAManzen):

Take off from Port St. Johns and dive out through the gorge to the coast line. Before turning to the north east towards Kosi Bay, we do a fly over  at Ntafufu Eco Lodge to show our appreciation for the fantastic hospitality we enjoyed over the last two days.

Routing back to the coast and over the last stretch of Wild Coast. Thereafter along the Hibiscus Coast to Durban Virginia for a light lunch and re-fueling.

Refreshed we proceed along the Dolphin Coast flying past some of South Africa’s most popular beaches and holiday destinations. We continue further up the coastline past the iSimangaliso wetland reserve, after which we soon reach Manzengwenya airstrip in the Kosi Bay area where we will stay over at the Thonga Beach Lodge for the next two nights.

A misguided bird, fortunately for us, just missed our prop; but tragically for him, hit the air frame. Parts of the footage of this video is therefore marred with the blood of this unfortunate creature, with which we failed to peacefully share the coastal airspace.

Having reached the top of the South African coastline, we will be routing inland for the remainder of our tour around South Africa.
